Attraction Marketing Has Customers Flocking to the Door of Your
Home Based Business

Attraction MarketingAttraction marketing is simply a process of advertising that passively brings new qualified prospects and customers into your home based business. You may feel that you are promoting or networking rather than advertising, but it amounts to the same thing. You are attempting to draw potential clients to your home based business through your marketing efforts.

When attraction marketing is used correctly, the potential client will find you, rather than you trying to find them. If you are of the school of ‘what is in it for me?’ you would find attraction marketing very appealing; and if your philosophy is ‘what can I do for you?’ you will find this method of marketing fascinating.

In order to understand attraction marketing, you must first understand what marketing is. A theme common in the majority of definitions is that marketing ‘relates to the many forms of communication that take place between a product or service vendor and the target audience’. Marketing and communication cannot be easily separated in your home based business.

A great way to get potential customers to your home based business is to have you as their
‘top of mind’
 awareness

Marketing is quite separate from the activity of selling, which refers to the transaction where goods or services are exchanged for an agreed value. In the easiest of terms we can say that marketing is the process by which a customer can be persuaded to conduct a purchasing transaction. Attraction marketing ensures that the potential customer wants to make contact with the vendor, even if a purchase is not forthcoming.

If the above is to be our working definition, you may ask, what has attraction marketing got to do with the persuasion of selling? Actually, not much - and that is the key.

It takes a lot of effort to persuade someone to do something or to buy something that they have not yet already decided to buy. Effort, in this instance, equates to time and money. If you do not have a large supply of cash, the task of persuading someone to buy your product is going to be impossible, especially when you consider you’re going to be competing with some very big budget advertisers.

This is where attraction marketing is really worthwhile understanding. If you didn’t have to set out to persuade someone to buy something, and just let people search for you; that could be awesome!

It would definitely be cheaper and easier because your potential customers are now actively looking for you and your home based business. Thanks to social media and other online attraction marketing methods, prospects and consumers have an almost unlimited variety of choice. This choice includes the mega brands and all the other smaller brands.

Attraction MarketingThe Internet has, to some extent, levelled the playing field. If a potential consumer has a need that is currently unsatisfied, they can search for a product or company on the internet that they believe will provide a solution.

We all know that it costs five times as much to win a new customer than it does to keep an existing one. So, stop exerting so much energy and spending so much cash to acquire new customers. Convincing someone that they need your product or service is expensive. However, persuading someone to buy your product or service, when they actually already know they want it, is so much easier and a much cheaper exercise.

When the potential buyer knows what they want; they have already convinced themselves and are prepared to make a purchase. It is then your job to use attraction marketing techniques to corner that market for your home based business.

In short, attraction marketing is the practice of allowing pre-qualified buyers to find what it is that you are offering. Once they came looking for you, it does not feel as though you actually have to make a sale – it just happens!
