You need to start with the end in mind when creating a business plan. You need to have a vision of what you want to achieve to write a successful plan. Take what you are thinking of and write it down.
A vision is simply your mind ‘idea’ of how you see your business when it is successful. When creating a business plan cover such topics as, revenue, profit you want to achieve, what products you are providing, where is your business located, how many workers you have and any thing else you can think of.
Once you list these items on paper, write a paragraph containing each of these items. This becomes your vision. Refine your Vision statement by making it less wordy and more to the point. Set a time frame on when this vision will be achieved. This is how you start creating a business plan
Once your Vision is in a written format you will more clearly understand what you want to achieve. You can then focus on what you need to do to achieve it. Just by putting your vision on paper you will be amazed at how much clearer your steps will be when creating a business plan.
